We’re here for your pet.

A true passion for healing is what drives our team of exceptional Veterinary professionals.

Dr. Nigel Taylor, BVSc.

Owner and Veterinarian

Dr. Nigel has been working as a veterinarian surgeon for 30 years. He purchased Village Veterinary Care Clinic in December 2005 and has been striving to provide a professional and caring environment for his patients ever since. He has a particular interest in surgery and performs all surgeries from orthopaedics to soft tissue and ocular procedures. Dr. Nigel has a cheeky border collie named Mintie and three horses named Maximus, Mick, and Gambler.

Dr. Morgan

Dr. Morgan Tilbury, BVSc. Hons.

Veterinarian

An honours grad & a heart of gold, compassion runs deep in Dr. Morgan’s veins. Having been bought up on a farm and the daughter of a vet—the seed was sown early—Dr. Morgan couldn’t imagine doing anything else. Truly a gem, she understands your furbaby is a member of your family, just like any other.

Jodie

Practice Manager/Team Leader

A self-confessed, Christmas fanatic and a familiar face to most, Jodie has been in our team for 8 years! She fills the clinic with 120% of her Christmas cheer to her team and our clients. If you see one of the nurses wearing, decorating, singing, or talking anything Christmas—there’s a strong chance you have met our fun loving Jodie.

Julie

Senior Veterinary Nurse

What’s got a tough outer shell with a gooey middle..? Cadbury creme egg? Nope… Nurse Julie! A veteran of veterinary nursing, Julie has been a Vet Nurse since blood samples were sent to the lab via homing pigeons (literally). She is the glue that holds everything and everyone in our team together.

Sally

Veterinary Nurse

Eager to learn all things veterinary our newly graduated Vet Nurse Sally, has joined our team and officially takes the title of the clinic’s ‘Crazy Cat lady!’ Her home is shared with her Calico Cat named Cleo, A Ragdoll named Ollie and Yogi the Dachshund x Jack Russel who has apparent adverse feelings toward technology (he literally chewed through a laptop). If Sally isn’t at work snuggling your pets to calm their nerves, or emptying the treat jar and playing with them out the back you’ll find her nourishing her relationships with friends and family soaking up the Qld sunshine at the beach, singing her heart out to the latest hits or binging on a Netflix series with her bestie.

Zhanae

Zhanae

Veterinary Technician

I hereby dub thee Zhanae, Vet Technician, Dame Tea-a-holic, Fashionista & Queen of thy pet cuddles and selfies!

If you’re after a Vet Tech that’s overflowing with love and compassion for all creatures, who is often found snuggled up in recovery with your pets to make them feel at home (literally), or who is always calm in the most stressful of situations—then Zhanae is your girl.

Zhanae is just about as quirky, brave, and dedicated as they come, and we absolutely adore all of her! When Zhanae’s Vet Tech cape is set down to rest, you’ll be sure to find her spoiling her Dachshund babies ‘Schnitzel Von Crumb’ and ‘Frankfurter’ (we mentioned she’s quirky right? 🤣), glamming up with her girlfriends for a memorable night out, or squeezing in some retail therapy time to get that perfect outfit for her next event – while sipping on faaaaar too many cuppa’s…
